Responsibilities:

• The ability to design and document large scale wireless networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Conduct and document detailed wireless site surveys.
• Wireless environment to include 802.11 a/b/g wireless environment. 
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and outages in a wired and wireless TCP/IP network
• Detecting Mitigating network threats and risks.
• Creating documentation for networks as they evolve and change.

Knowledge and Education:

• Certification as MSCE Windows 2000 or Windows 2003
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience with supporting Cisco 2950 series and 3550 series managed switches
• CWNA certification
• Experience designing, documenting and the installation of large scale wireless networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience with supporting wireless infrastructure, including intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with Wireless IDS a plus.
• Experience with 802.11 and 802.3 networks.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
• Network engineering experience to include a good understanding of TCP/IP and of network routing.
• Must be able to travel 35% minimum out of the year.
• Excellent written and  verball communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to hold a clearance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and ability to work outside and climb ladders.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
