We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Software Engineer in support of key DoD programs for our Rockville, Maryland location. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for a loosely formed wireless mesh network including sensor network. 

 

• Develop/modify driver code and conform to processes and standards like 802.11i.

 

 

Knowledge and Education:

• BSEE/BSCE, 7+ years experience with an emphasis in networking SW for platforms in Linux/Unix. 

 

• Systems design and implementation experience and excellent C and C++ skills are required.  

 

• In depth knowledge of TCP/IP and IP stack with emphasis towards wireless link Layer.  

 

• Knowledge of 802.11 Wireless Technology and networking protocols/stack.

 

 

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work at Linux Kernel Level.

 

• Able to debug low level software, ability to characterize and optimize high performance networking software and engineer system for high reliability.  

 

• Excellent design and debugging skills.

 

• Ability to produce well documented design and mode.
