- Automatic Receive Operation: Automatically detects both clear and encrypted messages, eliminating the inconvenience of user having to manually switch the radio between clear and coded communication modes.
- Secure OTAR: Can be reprogrammed using Over-the-Air-Reprogramming (OTAR), eliminating the need to take radios out of operation for programming updates. Radio can be disabled from receiving or transmitting messages while in the field, further enhancing security in the event a radio is lost or stolen.
- Compatible with Transcrypt 4XX Series: Compatible with Transcrypt’s 460, 430, 416 / 410 and 400 series modules. No need to immediately upgrade the entire fleet of radios; rather, modules can be replaced over time.
- Multiple Security Keys: Allows the user to select from among several keys, dictating which radio or group of radios to work with. Automatically selects the appropriate key for incoming messages, and mutes audio if the incoming message cannot be decrypted.
- System Management: Allows for radio system management, such as kill, unkill, zeroize and change IDs.
