The MO82 is available in four levels of security for Motorola radio models EX500, GP328-Plus, GP344, and PRO5150 Elite.

The MO82 is easy to install, requires very low power to operate and offers outstanding voice quality. The Direct Interface feature provides for the display of the scrambling state on the radio LED and scrambler control using the radio side buttons. The Over-the-Air Reprogramming (OTAR) feature enables ANI codes and system controls to be changed while the radio is in the field. The Automatic Receive Option allows for automatic detection of both clear and coded communication modes. In addition, the Disable Radio Function can make the radio unable to receive or transmit messages, preventing breaches in communications security.
