The AirGuard™ 3e-525A-3 wireless access point meets MIL-STD-461E – a Department of Defense requirement for the control of electromagnetic interference characteristics of subsystems and equipment – with a 200 volts per meter radiated susceptibility rating. Packaged in a rugged IP 66 weatherproof enclosure, it conforms to 802.11a/b/g wireless standards. It provides access point, mesh networking, gateway, and bridge / repeater capabilities for wireless applications. The 3e-525A-3 has two bridge ports and one access point port. In bridge mode, the ports operate at 2.4 GHz for 802.11b/g or 5.8 GHz for 802.11a. In access point mode, the port operates at 2.4 GHz for 802.11b/g.

  • Flexible and Scalable: Offers mesh network, gateway, and bridge / repeater modes and can accommodate up to 50 nodes in a network.
  • High Data Rates: In access point or gateway mode, it can establish links to laptops, PDAs and other wireless devices at data rates from 11 Mbps to up to 108 Mbps. When configured for mesh networking, repeater or bridging applications, the device options also support wireless signaling for link data rates up to 108 Mbps.
  • IEEE 802.1 VLAN: Allows use of multiple SSIDs for varying service types over a common physical network. Each VLAN can be assigned a unique security policy.
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE): Saves time and reduces costs associated with powerline cabling.
  • Device Management: Easy set up via an https Web server or SNMP v1, v2 or v3. Configuration of the wireless LAN is achieved over an https web server interface. Interface includes the ability to manage all features of the device including diagnostic functions.
