3e-525V-3 Wireless Video ServerIdeal for surveillance applications, the AirGuard 525V-3 Wireless Video Server delivers the architectures — along with the supporting systems and services — necessary for Wide Area Network / Local Area Network deployment of wireless and wired IP video networks across municipalities, military bases, campuses, transportation, utilities and other critical infrastructure locations. The 525V-3 ensures heightened security through real-time video capture and transmission of high-resolution digital imagery. A camera connected to the 525V-3 can be controlled by a centralized operations staff that remotely controls the camera’s pan / tilt / zoom (PTZ) features, views live footage, records video, reviews recorded footage, and outputs selected segments to digital or analog media. |
Highlights:
- Real-Time Video: 802.11a/b/g wireless bridging / repeating transmits video from remote locations to an operations center.
- Remote PTZ Capability: Users are able to control the pan / tilt / zoom capability of the camera over a wired or wireless network connection. Will control a minimum 25x optical zoom when equipped with the appropriate cameras.
- High Resolution Video: Transports a minimum video resolution of 640 x 480 with a 4 CIF (Common Intermediate Form) quality. Supports cameras working at a minimum of 7.5 frames per second.
- Wireless Data Access: Wireless hotspots can be enabled around video server locations and used to provide high speed mobile data access to soldiers, police, first responders and emergency management personnel.
- Validated Security: Wireless camera signals are securely transmitted using highly secure FIPS 140-2 Validated™ encryption, preventing eavesdropping by the media, rogue hackers, criminals or enemies.
- Mesh Networking: Creates a self configuring, self-healing secure wireless mesh network in a matter of seconds to enable seamless and secure voice, video, and data communications. Detects and reports rogue access points.
- Multiple Modes: Offers mesh network, gateway, and bridge / repeater modes and can accommodate multiple nodes in a network.
- Dual Radio: Features two-way radio configuration with a 2.4 GHz (802.11a/b/g) Wi-Fi radio and a 5.8 GHz (802.11a) radio.
- IEEE 802.1Q VLAN: Allows use of multiple SSIDs for varying service types over a common physical network. Each VLAN can be assigned a unique security policy.
- Power over Ethernet (PoE): Saves time and reduces costs associated with powerline cabling.
- Device Management: Easy set up via an https Web server or SNMP v1, v2 or v3 Configuration of the wireless LAN is achieved over an https web server interface.
